Apple and Kiwi: recover your energies with these smoothies

Summer is almost over, and with it, days start to be shorter and colder. Holidays are behind us now, and kids are starting school again. These days can be extra hard, so our forces are not exactly at their best.

The kiwi is one of the fruits with the highest content of vitamin C, and despite the popular belief about oranges, kiwi has twice the content. This vitamin helps us fight various diseases and control hypertension. Also, magnesium and potassium are essential to avoid the dreaded stress.

The apples, are a high laxative and astringent, cleansing and diuretic, but the most interesting properties include the approximately 4 grams of fibre in a medium sized apple. This is almost equivalent to 17% of the recommended daily amount.
